Owner Declarations
The Owner declares the following statements to be true at time of agreement and signature:
I certify that my dog has not harmed or shown any aggressive or threatening behaviour towards any person or any other
dogs. I certify that my dog is neutered, is insured for medical treatment, is fully vaccinated, is free from fleas and worms and has received up to date veterinary prescribed preventative treatment for fleas and worms at the time of entering the premises. I certify that my dog is in good health and has not been ill with a communicable condition in the last 30 days.
Owner Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions (“Agreement”) govern the provision of home boarding services for dogs (“Services”) provided by
Barking Brancaster (“Provider”) to the owner of the dog(s) (“Owner”). This Agreement is subject to the UK Home Boarding for
Dogs licensing statutory guidance for local authorities (“Guidance”), and the Provider is licensed under the Guidance to
provide the Services.
- Bookings and Reservations
1.1 The Owner shall provide the Provider with complete and accurate information about the dog(s) at the time of booking and
any changes that may occur prior to the provision of the Services.
1.2 The Provider shall confirm the booking by providing the Owner with written confirmation of the dates, times, and location
of the Services.
1.3 The Owner shall pay a non-refundable deposit to the Provider to secure the Services. The balance of the fees shall be
paid in full prior to the provision of the Services. - Provision of Services
2.1 The Provider shall provide the Services in accordance with the Guidance.
2.2 The Provider shall take reasonable steps to ensure the safety and well-being of the dog(s) in their care.
2.3 The Provider shall follow the instructions provided by the Owner in relation to the care of the dog(s), including feeding,
exercise, medication, and any other special requirements.
2.4 The Provider shall provide suitable accommodation for the dog(s) in their care, including access to a secure outdoor area.
2.5 The Provider shall ensure that the dog(s) are adequately supervised at all times.
2.6 The Provider shall take reasonable steps to ensure that the dog(s) do not cause damage to the Provider’s property or the
property of others.
2.7 The Provider shall notify the Owner immediately of any concerns or issues relating to the health or behaviour of the
dog(s). - Cancellation and Refunds
3.1 If the Owner cancels the booking more than 14 days prior to the provision of the Services, the non-refundable deposit
shall be retained by the Provider.
3.2 If the Owner cancels the booking less than 14 days prior to the provision of the Services, the full fees shall be payable.
3.3 If the Provider is unable to provide the Services due to unforeseen circumstances, the Provider shall notify the Owner as
soon as possible and shall refund any fees paid by the Owner. - Liability and Insurance
4.1 The Provider shall maintain appropriate insurance cover in relation to the provision of the Services.
4.2 The Provider shall not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by the Owner, including but not limited to loss or damage
to personal property, loss of income or profits, or any other indirect or consequential loss.
4.3 The Provider’s liability for any direct loss or damage suffered by the Owner shall be limited to the fees paid by the Owner
for the Services.
4.4 The Owner shall be responsible for any damage caused by the dog(s) to the Provider’s property or the property of others.
4.5 The Owner shall be responsible for any veterinary expenses incurred during their dogs stay and should be paid to The
Provider prior to collection - Miscellaneous
5.1 This Agreement represents the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior negotiations,
representations or agreements, either written or oral.
5.2 This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
5.3 Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be referred to arbitration in accordance with the rules
of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
5.4 This Agreement may only be amended in writing and signed by both parties
